Risk assessment
During filming our Opening Title Sequence we had to be aware of the risks that may be involved during filming. We had to be aware of when filming near candles that they weren't knocked over or that any of the flame didn't catch any piece of clothing to cause a fire or any burns. Also for some of the filming with the candles we were in the boiler room, this was another risk because the machines that are in the boiler room produce a gas that if a flam was lit or blown out it could become very flammable causing an explosion.
Another risk that involves fire was when we were burning the plastic doll, this was a risk on its own because we had to make sure that when burning the doll the fire didn't get to out of hand and catch fire to anything else and just in case the fire did get of hand we had a bucket of water at hand, also we had to make sure that we put the fire out properly before touching and moving the remains incase of any burns that may be caused.
We also had to be aware of the lighting because half of our OTS is filmed in darkness so when filming we had to be aware of the surroundings and to make sure that Emma our Demon was safe at all times.
We also had to be careful when handling with the cows heart and eyes as if any contact with skin we had to make sure that we immediately wash our hands because if we touches our month it could cause food poisoning or and if you touch your eyes it could cause blindness.
